The violent crime occurred around 9:35 p.m. According to Clifton law enforcement, the four suspects walked toward the car when it briefly stopped on the 100 block of Highland Avenue. Two of the suspects were allegedly carrying firearms as they approached the vehicle and ordered the vehicle occupants to step out.

The occupants of the car included a Passaic woman, two men from Passaic NJ, one NY man, and a small child.

When one of the victims exited the car, one suspect allegedly held a gun to their head and robbed her of jewelry.

After taking the jewelry, all four suspects got into the vehicle and sped off.

Clifton NJ police are currently investigating the violent theft crime and are attempting to determine the identities of the suspects. Law enforcement recently released descriptions of the carjackers, indicating that they are all Hispanic men in their 20s.

Assuming police can eventually identify and capture the carjackers, the men would face severe penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:15-2 is a special kind of first degree felony that carries a potential sentence of 30 years in NJ State Prison.

Paterson New Jersey Sex Crime LawyersA Paterson New Jersey man is headed to state prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting a juvenile girl.

According to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect committed the sexual offenses several years ago when the underage victim was between 12 and 14. The victim is now reportedly 19 years old.

Passaic County authorities conducted an investigation and eventually determined that enough evidence existed to arrest the suspect and charge him with multiple sex crimes, including aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.

The 39-year-old suspect, who is from Paterson NJ, did not reach a plea agreement with prosecutors in advance of a trial. As a result, the case went to trial in Passaic County Superior Court. During the criminal trial, prosecutors showed jurors a video of the suspect confessing to the sex crimes. The sexual assault victim also testified during the trial.

The jury ultimately returned guilty verdicts on the most serious criminal charges against the suspect.

The suspect is currently awaiting sentencing. He is being held at the Passaic County Jail in Paterson, New Jersey.

When the suspect is sentenced on December 2, he will face a punishment of 10-20 years in NJ State Prison on the aggravated sexual assault conviction. That’s because aggravated sexual assault is classified as a first degree felony under N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2(a).

Paterson NJ Bank Robbery SuspectA Passaic NJ man was arrested and charged with robbing banks located across New Jersey, including Passaic County, Union County, and Hudson County.

According to authorities, the suspect committed the robberies at five different banks over a three-week period this summer.

The suspect’s first alleged bank robbery went down on June 24 at a Wells Fargo Bank in Kearny, NJ. The suspect reportedly got away with $2,500 during the Kearny NJ bank robbery.

On June 27, the suspect allegedly attempted to rob a Capital One Bank located in Elizabeth, New Jersey. However, the suspect reportedly failed to steal any money during the robbery attempt.

On June 30, the suspect allegedly walked into a Wells Fargo Bank in Linden New Jersey and held up a bank teller.

In July, the suspect reportedly committed bank robberies at Wells Fargo Bank branches in Clifton and Linden, New Jersey.

In all five bank robberies, the suspect allegedly handed a bank teller a note ordering the employee to hand over money. During at least two of the thefts, the suspect allegedly used a firearm.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the NJ State Parole Board, and a number of local police departments investigated the bank robberies and eventually identified the suspect as the likely culprit. FBI agents later captured the suspect in Newark, New Jersey.

The suspect is a 25-year-old man from Passaic, New Jersey. He faces federal criminal charges for bank robbery and attempted bank robbery. He recently made an appearance in U.S. District Court in Newark for a preliminary hearing.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted of bank robbery, he would be subject to severe penalties that include a possible sentence of 20 years in federal prison.

Paterson New Jersey Handgun AttorneysPolice in Paterson New Jersey recently arrested a man accused of illegally possessing a handgun in his vehicle during a routine traffic stop.

According to law enforcement, the suspect was seen committing a traffic offense as he performed an illegal U-turn at the intersection of East 41st Street and 18th Avenue in Paterson, NJ. A couple of sheriff’s officers with the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office subsequently stopped the suspect’s silver GMC truck.

When the Passaic County cops talked to the driver, he appeared anxious. At one point while speaking to the Passaic County officers, the suspect allegedly gestured toward his glove box.

The Passaic County police officers conducted a search of the suspect’s truck and allegedly found a Starfire 9mm handgun. Police later said that the handgun was loaded with one round of ammunition in the chamber and another 11 rounds in the magazine.

The suspect is a 41-year-old Paterson New Jersey man. He was arrested and charged with several weapons offenses, including unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

While the suspect was being processed at police headquarters, law enforcement learned that he had an outstanding criminal warrant out of Paterson, NJ. The terms of the suspect’s supervised parole meant that he was not allowed to possess a weapon. As a result, the suspect also faces criminal charges for a certain persons offense.

Paterson New Jersey Assault LawyersPaterson NJ police are looking into a violent crime incident involving a knife at a local restaurant that resulted in several people sustained serious injuries.

The stabbing incident went down around 2:30 a.m. at El Tipico, a popular eatery located on 21st Street in Paterson, NJ. According to witnesses at the scene, multiple people inside the restaurant became involved in a heated argument about a soccer game on television. The verbal altercation turned physical, prompting at least one individual to grab a knife and use it to stab and injure several people.

Paterson NJ law enforcement has indicated that the argument leading up to the violent incident involved alcohol, with multiple participants in the fight reportedly being intoxicated and under the influence of alcohol.

The Paterson Police Department received a 911 call about the fight and dispatched police officers and emergency medical responders to the scene. The victims were transported to nearby St. Joseph’s Medical Center, where doctors provided them with medical treatment for their stab wounds. The suspects were later listed in stable condition.

Jerry Speziale, the Paterson NJ police director, issued a statement about the violent stabbing attack and said that Paterson law enforcement is actively investigating the alleged crime. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, it is possible that the person who wielded the knife will face criminal charges for aggravated assault and maybe even attempted murder.

For more than a month, there has not been a single shooting reported in Paterson. The lengthy ceasefire period has left many Paterson NJ law enforcement officials feeling pretty good about recent curfews that were imposed in order to reduce gun violence. Paterson NJ police have expressed disappointment about the ceasefire period in Paterson NJ coming to an end.

According to law enforcement, the victim was walking near the intersection of Walnut Street and Wayne Avenue in Paterson when someone in a vehicle fired gunshots at him.

The victim is a 26-year-old resident of Paterson, New Jersey. He suffered a gunshot wound in the shoulder and was subsequently taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson NJ. Doctors at the hospital treated the victim for his gunshot-related injuries. Afterwards, doctors at the hospital listed the victim in stable condition.

MetLife Stadium Disorderly Conduct LawyersPolice officers recently arrested 30 people at a Guns N’ Roses concert that was held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Guns N’ Roses, the popular rock band, was performing at MetLife Stadium. The stadium usually serves as home field for the NY Jets and the NY Giants, two pro football teams in the National Football League (NFL). Guns N’ Roses was playing in East Rutherford NJ as part of its nationwide tour, “Not in This Lifetime…”

According to an NJ State Police spokesperson, the 30 individuals arrested by law enforcement during last Saturday’s Guns N’ Roses performance at MetLife Stadium included people who were committing a number of criminal offenses, including:

  • Disorderly Conduct: Nine people were placed under arrest for allegedly causing disturbances at the concert.
  • Solicitation: A total of 11 individuals were arrested on charges of solicitation without a valid permit.
  • Aggravated Assault: One woman allegedly assaulted a police officer in the MetLife Stadium parking lot.
  • Simple Assault: Two people were placed under arrest and charged with simple assault, which is considered a disorderly persons offense in New Jersey.
  • Resisting Arrest: One person was detained and charged with resisting arrest.
  • Lewdness: Police arrested one person for “open lewdness” at the East Rutherford NJ concert.
  • Trespassing: Three people were detained and charged with criminal trespassing.
  • Harassment: One person was arrested and charged with harassment.
  • Marijuana Possession: One person faces drug crime charges for simple possession of marijuana after police allegedly caught him carrying less than 50 grams of marijuana.

The person who was charged with aggravated assault is a Mahwah NJ woman. She has been accused of violently attacking two cops in the MetLife Stadium parking lot.

Two New Jersey State troopers suffered minor injuries while apprehending the aggravated assault suspect. The Mahwah suspect faces criminal charges for third degree aggravated assault. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1(b), aggravated assault against a police officer carries a punishment of 3-5 years in NJ State Prison.

Clifton New Jersey Robbery AttorneysClifton NJ police are looking into a break-in and violent armed robbery at a local home.

The scary incident went down around 1:00 a.m., with multiple armed suspects forcing their way inside a residence on Sheridan Avenue in Clifton, NJ.

According to Passaic County officials, two suspects illegally entered the house and then held up the occupants at gunpoint. Both suspects allegedly brandished handguns while committing the violent crime.

The suspects reportedly managed to steal a number of expensive personal items from the residence, including electronics.

One of the victims reportedly suffered physical harm at the hands of the robbers. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been revealed by Passaic County authorities.

Clifton NJ police detectives are currently investigating the armed robbery. Investigators have not yet determined the identities of the home invaders.

If Clifton law enforcement can eventually figure out the identities of the suspects and apprehend them, the culprits would probably faces serious criminal charges for armed robbery and weapons offenses.

Passaic County NJ Prostitution LawyersPaterson NJ police recently arrested 14 people during a sting operation targeting prostitution in the city.

Paterson New Jersey law enforcement got reports of prostitutes operating in multiple areas of the city, with multiple Paterson NJ residents complaining about prostitution and solicitation of sex on streets. Paterson Police Department detectives and Passaic County Sheriff’s officers conducted a joint investigation and eventually got authorization to conduct a sting operation.

The sting operation focused on two areas of Paterson NJ: (1) Market Street from 22nd Street to 31st Street and (2) Van Houten Street from 18th Street to Straight Street.

After the arrests were made, Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik issued a press release and commended law enforcement for being so effective in the sting operation. Berdnik said that undercover cops were able to arrest 14 people, including 13 females and one male.

Most of the suspects reside in Passaic County: seven of the people arrested hail from Paterson, while one suspect is from Clifton and another suspect is from Wayne, New Jersey.

The other suspects arrested during the prostitution sting include residents of Morris County, Bergen County, Union County, Sussex County, and Ocean County.

The suspects all face serious criminal charges of loitering for the purpose of prostitution.

Paterson NJ Rapper Fetty Wap ArrestedFetty Wap, a rapper from Paterson New Jersey, was arrested earlier this month after Cedar Grove NJ police reportedly busted him driving with a suspended license.

Police made the arrest shortly after 8:00 p.m. on July 6. A Cedar Grove NJ patrol officer reportedly saw Fetty Wap commit a traffic offense and subsequently initiated a traffic stop.

The Cedar Grove patrol cop ran a check on Fetty Wap through the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission database and reportedly learned that the Paterson NJ resident was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Apparently, Fetty Wap lost his driving privileges in New Jersey after failing to show up for a required court appearance.

The Paterson NJ musician and rapper, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, has reportedly lost his driving privileges a number of times due to Driving While Suspended convictions, failure to appear in court, and failure to pay child support.

After being arrested and processed at Cedar Grove NJ police headquarters, Fetty Wap was released with a summons. The Paterson resident will have to show up for another court date in Cedar Grove Municipal Court to address the traffic citation.
