Clifton NJ police are looking into a break-in and violent armed robbery at a local home.
The scary incident went down around 1:00 a.m., with multiple armed suspects forcing their way inside a residence on Sheridan Avenue in Clifton, NJ.
According to Passaic County officials, two suspects illegally entered the house and then held up the occupants at gunpoint. Both suspects allegedly brandished handguns while committing the violent crime.
The suspects reportedly managed to steal a number of expensive personal items from the residence, including electronics.
One of the victims reportedly suffered physical harm at the hands of the robbers. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been revealed by Passaic County authorities.
Clifton NJ police detectives are currently investigating the armed robbery. Investigators have not yet determined the identities of the home invaders.
If Clifton law enforcement can eventually figure out the identities of the suspects and apprehend them, the culprits would probably faces serious criminal charges for armed robbery and weapons offenses.
