The suspect was reportedly operating a white van on the New York State Thruway in Tuxedo, NY. As the suspect traveling on the highway, he allegedly began to stare at a woman in another car. He then allegedly masturbated.

The woman used her cell phone to 911 and notify local law enforcement. Police officers soon arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect. He was subsequently charged with public lewdness.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted on the very serious sexual offense charges, he could wind up behind bars.

Paterson Carjacking SuspectA New York man has pleaded guilty to charges related to a crime spree in Passaic County, NJ.

The suspect is a 19-year-old resident of Suffern, NY. According to law enforcement, the suspect was part of a group that committed an armed robbery of a bar located in Hawthorne, New Jersey. The suspect also allegedly committed a carjacking in Paterson, New Jersey.

The suspect is one of six people accused of committing a crime spree. The other suspects hail from Ridgewood NJ, Waldwick NJ, and Suffern NY.

Federal prosecutors said that the suspects held up the RD Benders Tavern in Hawthorne NJ on December 25, 2015. They reportedly got away with roughly $200 in cash.

The day after the Hawthorne bar robbery, the suspects allegedly kidnapped a taxi driver and then attacked him with a beer bottle. The suspects also reportedly used a knife to slash the driver’s throat.

Now the Suffern suspect is probably on his way to a federal penitentiary. He reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery, carjacking, and kidnapping. When the suspect next appears in US District Court in Newark on June 27, he will be formally sentenced.

Paterson NJ Heroin SuspectsTwo Paterson New Jersey men were arrested in a drug sting conducted by Paramus NJ police. Cops reportedly observed the suspects attempting to sell a large amount of heroin to undercover officers.

The suspects are a 22-year-old Paterson man and a 24-year-old Paterson man.

Detectives with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office started their investigation into one of the suspects after getting information that he was moving heroin from his residence in Paterson to several towns throughout Bergen County, New Jersey.

Bergen County NJ detectives and Paramus NJ police officers eventually conducted an undercover sting operation. As part of the operation, an undercover police officer allegedly spoke with the suspects and arranged to purchase heroin.

When arresting the suspects, Paterson cops reportedly found more than 1,000 bags of heroin.

The suspects both face very serious criminal charges for possession with intent to distribute heroin.

After being placed under arrest and processed, the suspects were remanded to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, NJ.

Passaic Armed Robbery AttorneysTwo men from Essex County NJ could soon stand trial in federal court after they were indicted on armed robbery charges. According to prosecutors, the suspects committed a theft at a Passaic club.

The robbery happened on September 6, 2015. The two suspects reportedly entered the Passaic NJ club, walked into a club office, and threatened to murder a worker unless he gave them money from a safe. After allegedly getting the cash, the robbers exited the building and drove off.

Passaic NJ cops pursued the fleeing suspects through Passaic, Newark, and East Orange. However, the suspects reportedly managed to get away by abandoning their vehicle and fleeing on foot.

A number of law enforcement agencies worked together on the robbery investigation, including the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, the Passaic Police Department, the Newark Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Investigators eventually identified the possible robbery culprits as a 28-year-old South Orange man and a 32-year-old Irvington man.

The suspects were subsequently charged with multiple criminal offenses, including armed robbery and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Now a grand jury has indicted the suspects on the criminal charges, which means the men could be headed to trial in U.S. District Court in Newark, New Jersey.

Paterson NJ Murder ChargesPaterson police officers recently apprehended two men who are accused of committing a murder during a robbery attempt and then setting fire to a vehicle.

The homicide suspects are a 26-year-old Paterson resident and a 28-year-old Paterson resident. They both live in the same home located on Spring Street.

According to authorities, the suspects held up the victims on the 500 block of East 28th Street in Paterson, New Jersey. The suspects allegedly stole money from the victims and then shot the two men in the heads.

The victims, a 25-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, were later pronounced dead.

When police found the victims’ bodies, they were inside a 2015 Audi that was on fire. Investigators later connected the car to Kim DePaola, a cast member of the reality show “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

Paterson detectives quickly identified and captured the two murder suspects. They were arrested without incident.

The suspects have been charged with several crimes, including first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, armed robbery, arson, and illegal possession of a handgun.

After being placed under arrest and charged, the suspects were transported to the Passaic County Jail in Paterson, NJ. Given new bail restrictions in New Jersey, it is possible that the suspects will remain behind bars until their criminal case is resolved.

The mother screamed, prompting other shoppers to run over and offer assistance. Several people reportedly pinned the suspect to the ground until cops could arrive and place him under arrest.

The suspect was soon arrested and charged with aggravated battery.

Now the suspect faces significant penalties. He recently made an appearance in court at a pre-trial hearing. The mother of the victim in the case testified at the hearing and said that the suspect threatened to kidnap the baby before committing the assault.

A Passaic New Jersey firefighter who allegedly got into a bar fight was placed on unpaid leave after city officials looked at his file and reportedly noticed complaints.

The violent altercation happened on January 21, 2017. According to law enforcement, the suspect among a group of people at the Emerald Corner tavern in Clifton NJ when he got involved in a fight. Workers at the bar dialed 911 to notify the Clifton Police Department, which sent officers to the area.

When Clifton police officers arrived at the scene, the fight was already over and there was no need to place anyone under arrest.

Despite the fact that the suspect was not arrested or criminally charged with simple assault or aggravated assault in connection with the bar fight, he could still lose his job. That’s because the Passaic Fire Department checked out his file after the incident and reportedly saw that there were several complaints against him.

As a result of the official complaints in the suspect’s file, he has been placed on unpaid leave.

Paterson Mayor Corruption ChargesJose “Joey” Torres, the Paterson NJ mayor, recently turned him in to New Jersey State Police. Torres faces corruption charges and has been accused of arranging for city workers to help a relative.

Torres is a 58-year-old resident of Paterson NJ. He is also the mayor of the city.

According to Passaic County prosecutors, the suspect conspired to get city employees to do work on a property leased by his daughter.

Torres has been under intense pressure to resign from office, but he has made it clear that he will remain the mayor of the city while the criminal charges for corruption are pending.

Torres recently surrendered to authorities at NJ State Police headquarters. This followed the announcement that Torres had been indicted by a grand jury.

Other city employees have been charged in connection with the corruption case. Additionally, Torres’ daughter resigned from her position on the Passaic Valley Water Commission.

Haledon NJ Sex Crime ChargesA Prospect Park NJ woman who was convicted of multiple sex offenses last year recently had her teaching license revoked by the State of New Jersey.

The suspect is a 22-year-old woman from Prospect Park, NJ. She worked as a substitute teacher at schools located in Haledon NJ, including Manchester Regional High School. According to Passaic County prosecutors, the suspect had sex with underage students and also sent sexually explicit photographs to a juvenile.

The suspect avoided trial by reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors. She pleaded guilty to multiple sex crimes, including aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. In exchange for the suspect pleading guilty, prosecutors agreed to recommend a relatively light sentence on the very serious sexual offenses.

The suspect ultimately received a sentence of three years in NJ State Prison. She will also have to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law after she completes her prison sentence.

Now the suspect’s teaching credentials been revoked by NJ. This means that she will be barred from public employment in New Jersey going forward.

Clifton NJ Simple Assault LawyersClifton NJ police arrested three people after a fight broke out at a popular nightclub. The altercation was reportedly caused by confusion over Daylight Saving Time.

The fight occurred just after 2:00 a.m. at the Bliss Lounge on Allwood Road in Clifton, New Jersey. According to law enforcement officials, club management made the decision to stop allowing people inside the building due to the time jump. Moreover, the building had reportedly reached its capacity.

Several people initially denied entry to the nightclub allegedly rushed the doors and forced their entry into the club.

Once inside the nightclub, the additional people reportedly started a brawl.

Nightclub workers dialed 911 and alerted the Clifton Police Department, which dispatched police officers to the scene. Additionally, officers with the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department also arrived to help.

Police officers ultimately arrested three people, including one person who reportedly had a firearm with a valid NJ carry license.

Two of the suspects faces charges for disorderly conduct, while the third suspect faces very serious criminal charges for illegal possession of a handgun.
