Paterson NJ Murder SuspectPaterson NJ police recently arrested a man accused of murdering someone on a city street.

The stabbing incident occurred a short time before 11:00 a.m. on Paterson Street in Paterson, New Jersey. Someone noticed the victim lying on the pavement near an abandoned home and immediately contacted local law enforcement.

Cops and emergency responders rushed to the scene and found the victim suffering from stab wounds. Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead shortly after emergency crews got to the scene. He was 50 years of age when he died.

The Paterson Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office conducted a joint investigation into the homicide and quickly identified the suspect. Police officers later arrested the suspect in Paterson, New Jersey.

The suspect is a 28-year-old resident of Hightstown in Mercer County, NJ. He has been charged with multiple crimes, including first degree murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

If the suspect is convicted of murder, he would face significant criminal penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:11-3, murder is unique first degree felony that carries a potential penalty of life imprisonment.

Clinton New Jersey Burglary AttorneysPolice are trying to find three suspects who allegedly broke into a Clifton NJ auto dealership and stole luxury vehicles.

The suspects allegedly committed the auto thefts around 2:00 a.m. According to law enforcement, the suspects forced open a door at B&M Auto Mall in Clifton New Jersey and then used a Nissan Sentra from the dealership lot to ram through a fence.

The suspects reportedly stole a total of three cars: 2007 BMW, a 2010 Mercedes Benz, and a 2011 Nissan Maxima. The three cars stolen from the dealership reportedly have a total value of around $70,000.

The Clifton Police Department and the Paterson Police Department received calls about the break-in and sent officers to the scene. However, the suspects were long gone when the police officers arrived.

An employee at the Clifton auto dealership told police that one of the three suspects tried to break into the business a couple of weeks ago.

If authorities can eventually identify and capture the suspects, the thieves would probably face criminal charges for auto theft and burglary.

Paterson New Jersey Assault LawyersA former teacher in Paterson New Jersey was suspended for allegedly spitting on a student several years ago.

The incident reportedly happened in May 2014 at the School of Education and Training in the JFK Educational Complex in Paterson, NJ. The suspect was a French teacher at the school. He allegedly got into an argument with a 10th-grade student.

At some point, the verbal altercation turned physical and the suspect allegedly spit on the victim. Prior to that, the suspect allegedly yelled at the victim and told her to “go home and take a shower” because she was “dirty.”

The suspect was ultimately fired from a tenured teaching position as a result of the spitting incident. However, law enforcement did not file any criminal charges for simple assault.

The suspect taught in NJ for roughly a decade, including many years in Paterson, New Jersey. Now the suspect will be barred from teaching New Jersey for two years after a school board suspended him for the alleged assault in 2014.

The suspect reportedly had been hired to teach French at East Orange Campus High School in East Orange NJ next year, but now those plans will have to be put on hold.

Paterson NJ Attempted Murder ChargesAuthorities recently captured a Paterson New Jersey man wanted for attempted murder in connection with a shooting last year.

The suspect allegedly committed the violent crime on September 27, 2016. According to law enforcement officials, the suspect used a gun to fire gunshots at the victim while the victim walked near the intersection of 12th Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson, NJ.

The victim later drove himself to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson and got medical treatment. Hospital employees contacted police and detectives subsequently went to the hospital and spoke to the victim.

The Paterson Police Department, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, and the US Marshals Service investigated and identified the suspect as the likely shooter.

It took several months, but law enforcement eventually located the suspect. Detectives with the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Crime Task Force arrested the suspect as he exited a cab on Park Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey. According to police, the suspect tried to flee the scene on foot.

The suspect, a 24-year-old Paterson NJ man, faces multiple criminal charges, including attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Paterson New Jersey Homicide AttorneysPaterson New Jersey detectives are currently investigating a shooting incident that resulted in fatal wounds to a teenage boy.

The fatal shooting occurred just after 5:00 p.m. at a home on Auburn Street in Paterson, NJ. According to law enforcement, someone used a firearm to shoot at the victims inside the house.

The Paterson Police Department got a call about gunshots fired and sent police officers and emergency crews to the area. When Paterson New Jersey cops arrived at the residence, they found two teenage victims who had sustained gunshot wounds.

The victims, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, were briefly treated at the home and then rushed via ambulance to nearby St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. Doctors at the Paterson NJ hospital provided further treatment to the victims, but they could not save the 16-year-old victim; he was pronounced dead sometime after arrival at the medical facility. Fortunately, the 17-year-old victim survived his injuries.

The Paterson Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office are actively investigating the shooting. Detectives have already spoken with witnesses and canvassed the area around the Auburn Street residence in search of the shooter.

If police can eventually identify and locate the shooter, the culprit would likely be charged with crimes that include first degree murder, aggravated assault, and weapons offenses.

Passaic County NJ Sex Crime ChargesPaterson New Jersey police arrested six juveniles accused of distributing child pornography.

The four teen suspects include four boys and two girls, all of whom are between the ages of 13 and 16 and all of whom live in Passaic County, NJ.

According to authorities, the suspects used online social media accounts to get nude photographs of minors.

In December 2015, three girls reportedly saw their nude photos posted on the Internet and contacted law enforcement. Several law enforcement agencies then investigated the suspects, including the Paterson Police Department, the North Haledon Police Department, the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department, and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Detectives reportedly saw that the suspects had posted hundreds of nude images on the social media accounts.

The six suspects have been charged with multiple crimes, including distribution of child pornography, maintaining child pornography, cyber harassment, and invasion of privacy. According to prosecutors, the suspects will be charged with juvenile offenses, meaning that they will not be tried as adults.

After being arrested and charged, the suspects were released to their parents with pending court dates.

Passaic County Sexual Assault SuspectA former substitute teacher at high schools in Passaic County New Jersey has been sentenced to prison time for sexually assaulting minors.

The suspect is a 22-year-old female who worked as a substitute teacher at Passaic County schools, including Manchester Regional High School and Haledon Public School.

According to authorities, the suspect sexted with students and sent sexual photos of herself to the minors. Additionally, the suspect reportedly engaged in sexual relations with underage students.

The victims were between the ages of 14 and 16 and attended school in Haledon, NJ.

The suspect was eventually arrested and charged with several sexual offenses, including second degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. She ultimately avoided trial on the very serious sex crime charges by reaching a plea deal with Passaic County prosecutors. The terms of the plea agreement called for prosecutors to recommend that the suspect be sentenced to five years in prison.

The suspect later made an appearance in Passaic County Superior Court, which is located in Paterson, and argued that mitigating factors in her case should lead to a reduced sentence. The judge agreed with the suspect and decided that she should be sentenced to just three years behind bars.

Clifton New Jersey Heroin AttorneysA Bronx NY man was sentenced to four years in a federal prison after pleading guilty to heroin distribution in Clifton, New Jersey.

The suspect is a 22-year-old man from the Bronx in New York. He was among several individuals who were arrested by Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents on February 5, 2016 in connection with drug trafficking. The DEA agents allegedly watched the suspects transport a large quantity of heroin and other illegal narcotics in Clifton, NJ.

Law enforcement arrested the suspect after conducting surveillance on a tractor-trailer parked outside a vacant home. Police searched the premises and allegedly seized more than 92 pounds of illegal drugs, including 48 pounds of heroin, 22 pounds of cocaine, and 22 pounds of fentanyl.

The suspect faced numerous drug offense charges, including distribution of heroin and distribution of cocaine. He ultimately managed to avoid trial in US District Court in Trenton by reaching a plea agreement with federal prosecutors.

The terms of the plea deal called for the suspect to serve four years in a federal prison, but a judge still needed to approve the plea deal. Now the plea agreement has been approved and the suspect is on his way to prison.

Two of the suspects in the drug trafficking case have already pleaded guilty to drug distribution charges, while two more suspects still have pending charges.

Paterson NJ Child Abuse SuspectAn Essex County man who was employed as a math teacher at a Paterson high school has lost his teaching license after pleading guilty to child abuse charges.

The suspect resided in Montclair New Jersey and worked at East Side High School in Paterson, NJ. It was in 2014 that authorities began to investigate the suspect for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a student. At the conclusion of the investigation, law enforcement placed the suspect under arrest and charged him with several sex crimes.

If the suspect had fought the charges and gone to trial in Passaic County Superior Court, he would have faced a lengthy prison sentence. Instead, the suspect avoided jail time by reaching a plea deal with Passaic County prosecutors. The suspect pleaded guilty to child abuse and child cruelty/neglect, with prosecutors subsequently recommending that he receive a sentence of probation instead of prison.

Since being arrested and criminally charged, the suspect has not taught. Now it appears that he will never again be allowed to teach in NJ. The New Jersey Department of Education State Board of Examiners recently convened and stripped the suspect of his education license.

Wayne New Jersey Theft ChargesPolice officers recently arrested a man who allegedly assaulted a security guard and attempted to commit a robbery at a Macy’s department store located in Wayne, NJ.

The suspect, a 47-year-old man from Elmwood Park, reportedly walked into the Macy’s around 1:00pm and tried to steal a Breville coffee maker.

A store security guard reportedly confronted the suspect as he headed for the exit. That’s when the suspect allegedly assaulted the guard, which involved multiple punches being thrown to the guard’s head and face.

After the suspect exited the building, a Wayne police detective who was on patrol outside the store noticed him and stopped him for questioning. The cop reportedly recognized the suspect as someone with a history of theft crime arrests and convictions, including prior convictions for credit card theft and burglary.

The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with robbery by force, a crime that carries severe penalties.

After being arrested and charged, the suspect secured his release from police custody. He will have to make an appearance in Passaic County Superior Court at a later date to answer the criminal charges against him.
