Paterson NJ detectives investigated the shooting and talked to the victim, who was able to identify the female suspect as the person who shot him.

Hardyston New Jersey Marijuana AttorneysHardyston New Jersey police conducted a drug bust and apprehended two men who allegedly ran a drug production operation.

According to law enforcement, the arrests were made at the conclusion of an investigation that took five months. A number of different law enforcement agencies worked together on the investigation, including the Hardyston Police Department, the Ringwood Police Department, the Wanaque Police Department, the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office, the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and New Jersey State Police.

During the raid, Hardyston NJ police reportedly found eight pounds of raw marijuana, in addition to several marijuana-based products. Among the items seized by police were 10 pounds of cubed marijuana candy, 169 containers of marijuana vape oil, a tray of marijuana butter, numerous pot brownies, 50 bongs, and several plastic bags and scales. Police officers also allegedly discovered, and seized, approximately $15,000 in cash.

The suspects, a 30-year-old Hardyston NJ man and a 31-year-old Hardyston NJ man, were arrested and charged with numerous drug offenses, including operating a drug production facility, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute hashish, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

One suspect also faces criminal charges for possession of cocaine because detectives allegedly discovered him with a small amount of cocaine.

The tragic shooting occurred in February 2016. According to Passaic County prosecutors, the 49-year-old suspect walked into the Ellison Mini Market, which located on Ellison Street in Paterson, approached the store owner, and shouted at him to hand over cash from the store register.

At some point during the theft, the suspect allegedly shot and killed the 64-year-old store owner.

Paterson police officers later went to the store after getting a notification of gunshots being fired at the store. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where doctors tried to save his life. Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead a short time after arriving at the hospital.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Paterson Police Department conducted a joint investigation into the homicide. Investigators were eventually able to determine the identity of the suspect.

Investigators quickly identified, and arrested, the alleged shooter, who turned himself over to New Jersey state parole officials just a few days after the violent incident. The main shooting suspect is a 28-year-old male from Paterson, NJ.

After the suspect surrendered to law enforcement, he was charged with a number of criminal offenses, including aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and a certain persons offense for being a convicted felon unlawfully in possession of a handgun.

Now the other suspect in the case has been apprehended and charged as well. Passaic police officers were conducting a routine traffic stop when they realized that the suspect was wanted by Paterson detectives.

Paterson New Jersey Eluding ChargesA Passaic County grand jury indicted a Paterson NJ man who allegedly eluded police and then dragged a police officer with his vehicle.

The scary incident occurred in September 2015. A Paterson NJ patrol officer reportedly observed the suspect committing a traffic offense near the intersection of Jefferson Street and North 3rd Street in Paterson, New Jersey.

When the patrol cop tried to speak with the suspect a triple-shooting that law enforcement was investigating at the time, the suspect allegedly sped off and actually ended up dragging the Paterson NJ cop along the pavement. After the police officer freed himself from the car and fell to the ground, the suspect allegedly tried to crash into her with his car.

The police officer sustained numerous injuries during the incident, including serious injuries to her arm, hand, leg, and hip.

The suspect was eventually pulled over and arrested. He was subsequently charged with several crimes, including eluding police, aggravated assault, aggravated assault while eluding, aggravated assault on a police officer, and resisting arrest.

The 20-year-old suspect, who resides in Paterson, New Jersey, has now been indicted by a Passaic County grand jury on the criminal charges.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted of eluding, he would be subject to severe penalties. When officers arrived at the scene of the shooting, they did not find any victims. However, not long after that, police received a call from medical personnel at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. Hospital employees told Paterson police that two men with gunshot wounds had arrived at the hospital via private car.

One of the victims, a 23-year-old man from Wayne NJ, had sustained a gunshot wound to his arm. He was treated and later listed in stable condition. The other victim, a 30-year-old man from Passaic, sustained an injury to his head as a result of being grazed by a bullet. He was treated and was later said be expected to make a full recovery.

At this time, investigators have yet to identify a suspect in the case. If police can eventually locate the shooter, that person would probably be subject to criminal charges for aggravated assault. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1(b), anyone who uses a deadly weapon, such as a handgun or a knife, to cause serious bodily injury to another can be charged with a third degree criminal offense.

Passaic County NJ Marijuana LawyersPassaic County authorities recently arrested several people in a major drug sting operation.

The operation was conducted by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Paterson Police Department. Police called the undercover operation “caveat emptor,” a Latin phrase that means “buyer beware.” In this instance, the people who needed to beware included anyone who might be looking to buy illicit drugs.

Law enforcement decided to conduct the drug sting after receiving numerous complaints about drug trafficking and drug distribution in Paterson, NJ.

According to officials, the drug raid occurred at 221 Broadway, with Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office detectives and Paterson police officers conducting surveillance on people who entered a building, bought illegal drugs, and then tried to leave the area.

Police reportedly observed as many as 50 people walk into the building every hour. Police also said that they saw drug dealers who were serving as lookouts for police.

Police ultimately arrested a total of 36 people during the drug operation. Most of the individuals arrested hail from Paterson, New Jersey.

One of the suspects is a 39-year-old Paterson man who has been charged with drug possession, illegal possession of a handgun, and a certain persons offense for being a felon illegally in possession of a handgun.

Most of the suspects who were placed under arrest are charged with remaining in a public place for the purpose of buying drugs.

Five of the suspects were also charged with obstructing the administration of law.
