Burglary Lawyers in Paterson NJPaterson police are investigating a burglary that reportedly ended with one person being shot and another person being violently assaulted.

The crime happened at a residence on the 400 block of 10th Avenue in Paterson, NJ. According to law enforcement, someone gained access to the residence while the homeowner was away.

At some point during the alleged burglary, the homeowner came home. Another person also entered the house to find the burglar inside.

The Paterson Police Department received a 911 emergency call about the burglary and dispatched officers to the scene. When police got to the area, they found the two victims.

The woman, a 46-year-old Paterson NJ resident, received medical treatment for her injuries at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. The man, a 37-year-old Elizabeth resident, also received medical treatment at the Paterson hospital.

The Paterson Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office are actively investigating the criminal incident. If detectives can eventually identify and apprehend the culprit, that person could be charged with aggravated assault, burglary, and weapons offenses.

The suspect is a 22-year-old Prospect Park NJ man. According to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect inadvertently shot himself in the hand with a firearm.

The suspect then took himself to the St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center trauma center in Paterson NJ, where doctors treated him for his injuries.

Hospital employees contacted the Paterson Police Department, which sent officers to the medical center to investigate. When Paterson police officers talked to the suspect, he reportedly lied and claimed that he was shot by someone else.

Paterson police detectives investigated and eventually placed the suspect under arrest after determining that he may have shot himself.

The suspect faces criminal charges for unlawful possession of a weapon and giving a false report to a police officer.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted on the weapons offense charges, he could be sentenced to a mandatory term of incarceration in NJ State Prison.

The suspect is a 29-year-old man from South Orange in Essex County, NJ. According to federal authorities, the suspect used a handgun to commit a robbery at a club located in Passaic, New Jersey on September 6, 2015.

The suspect, and another man, reportedly held up the Passaic NJ business and stole approximately $26,000. They then allegedly left the scene in a getaway vehicle driven by a third man.

Police chased the suspects through Passaic and Newark before the suspects tried to make a run for it on foot. Police officers were able to to apprehend the main suspect.

The South Orange NJ suspect was faced federal criminal charges for conspiracy to commit a robbery and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence. Now that he has pleaded guilty to the charges, he is looking at a lengthy term of incarceration in a federal penitentiary.

One suspect reportedly threatened the victim with a handgun. However, the victim later said that he never actually saw a weapon during the robbery and assault.

The suspects allegedly got away with $30 in cash and several ID cards.

Police detectives are investigating the Harrison robbery and trying to identify the suspects. Investigators also believe that the same individuals could be responsible for other robberies in Paterson, Belleville, and Union City.

Police made the arrests during an undercover operation: a “Quality of Life Operation.” According to officials, detectives with the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office started the investigation after getting information about men soliciting prostitutes in the area of Market Street and East 22nd Street in Paterson, New Jersey.

Over the course of four hours, Passaic County officers reportedly saw at least 15 women attempting to illegally sell sexual services.

The 15 suspects reside in several counties: Passaic County, Bergen County, Essex County, and Hudson County.

The suspects have all been charged with sex crimes. Additionally, some of suspects already face criminal charges in nearby Passaic County municipalities.

Paterson NJ Homicide LawyersDetectives are investigating a homicide after a Paterson New Jersey man arrived at a Newark hospital and later died as a result of gunshot wounds.

The victim was a 27-year-old resident of Paterson in Passaic County, NJ.
