Both theft incidents happened in early December 2015. The teen suspects allegedly robbed individuals who were delivering Chinese food in Clifton, New Jersey.

One of the victims was reportedly robbed and assaulted at the intersection of Third Street and Sylvan Avenue in Clifton, NJ. He suffered severe injuries when the suspects allegedly used a pipe to hit him repeatedly.

Clifton detectives were able to capture two of the teenage suspects at a residence located on Howe Avenue in Passaic, New Jersey. The other suspects were apprehended by Clifton police a few days after that.

The suspects have been charged with multiple crimes, including armed robbery, theft, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Clifton NJ police said that the suspects are being investigated for similar robberies in neighboring municipalities, so it’s possible that they could face additional criminal charges.

After being placed under arrest and charged, the adult suspect was transported to the Passaic County Jail. Meanwhile, the five underage suspects were remanded to the Essex County Juvenile Detention Center.

Wayne New Jersey Assault AttorneysA Belleville New Jersey man has been charged with aggravated assault on a police officer after allegedly using his car to strike two police officers in Wayne, NJ.

The incident happened around 5:00 p.m. Two Wayne police officers were in a Hooters parking lot on Route 23 South when they saw the suspect sitting inside his BMW.

The police officers walked toward the suspect’s vehicle and reportedly noticed marijuana in plain view in the backseat.

According to the officers, the suspect got frightened and suddenly put his car into reverse. He then slammed into the police officers and caused both of them to hit the ground.

The officers got to their feet, returned to their patrol car, and chased after the suspect. They were joined in pursuit by a third police officer, who followed the suspect through a number of municipalities, including Nutley, Belleville, and Newark.

The suspect eventually stopped at the intersection of South Franklin Avenue and Mill Street in Newark. When the suspect got out of his vehicle, he was hit by a passive car. A struggle then ensued between the suspect and a police officer, with the suspect temporarily freeing himself by shoving the cop into harm’s way. Although the police officer was nearly hit by an oncoming Essex County sheriff’s car, he managed to avoid serious injury.

Police were eventually able to apprehend the suspect.

The 22-year-old suspect, who resides in Belleville, was subsequently charged with several crimes, including aggravated assault on a police officer, assault by auto, and eluding police. Additionally, the suspect was charged with simple possession of marijuana because Wayne police allegedly found a small amount of pot in his car.

Wayne NJ police also issued the suspect citations for numerous traffic offenses.

After the suspect was arrested and charged, he was transported to the Passaic County Jail. He was being held at the correctional facility in advance of a bail hearing in Passaic County Superior Court in Paterson, New Jersey.

Paterson NJ Illegal Handgun LawyersPaterson New Jersey police recently captured a suspected shooter who was found hiding behind a dumpster.

Paterson police made the arrest around 8:15 a.m. According to authorities, a Paterson NJ police officer was on patrol, at a construction site near Summer Street and Broadway, when he heard gunshots.

The officer investigated and was directed by passersby to Hamilton Avenue, where he reportedly saw the 27-year-old suspect walking on the street and in possession of a gun.

After noticing the police officer, the suspect allegedly threw the black handgun to the pavement and ran away. When more Paterson NJ police officers got to the construction site, they set up a perimeter and searched the area for the suspect.

Police officers eventually located the suspect and allegedly recovered a .40-caliber handgun. Sometime later, law enforcement learned that the gun was reported stolen out of Roanoke, Virginia.

The suspect is now subject to a number of very serious criminal charges, including discharging a firearm, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and possession of stolen property.

After the suspect was placed under arrest and charged, the Paterson police director issued a statement commending the arresting officers.

Passaic New Jersey Assault LawyersPassaic NJ police are searching for suspects in two recent stabbings on city streets.

According to authorities, the stabbings went down in the same Passaic area; however, they occurred at different times and in separate locations.

The first assault happened at a home located on Third Street in Passaic, New Jersey. Clifton police officers were dispatched to the scene shortly before 11:00 p.m.

When police officers got to the residence, they found a 16-year-old male who had suffered knife wounds to his back and stomach. Law enforcement said that the suspect was stabbed twice in the back and another time in the stomach.

After the attack, the victim was transported by emergency medical responders to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.

While Passaic police were waiting at the hospital with the victim, another stabbing victim arrived at the medical facility. The second victim was a 55-year-old man who had sustained stab wounds to his left forearm.

The second victim told Passaic NJ police that he was assaulted by two individuals while walking across the street in Passaic, New Jersey.

Both victims were treated at the hospital and were later said to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Passaic police are currently looking into the attack and searching for the culprits. Investigators believe that the two stabbing incidents could be related.

If any suspects are eventually identified and apprehended in either case, they could be subject to severe criminal penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1(b), aggravated assault with a deadly weapon like a handgun or knife is considered a second degree crime. A conviction for second degree aggravated assault could result in a sentence of 5-10 years in New Jersey State Prison.

Clifton NJ Armed Robbery LawyersClifton NJ police are looking for two men accused of committing an armed robbery on a city street.

According to law enforcement, the 45-year-old victim was walking on Arthur Street in Clifton around 10:40 p.m. when he was accosted. The two suspects reportedly moved toward the victim and demanded that he hand over his belongings.

The victim later spoke with Clifton police and said that one of the suspects was holding a handgun during the robbery.

After obtaining the victim’s wallet, the suspects allegedly got into a car and drove away from the area.

The good news is that the victim was not hurt during the robbery.

The Clifton Police Department is currently investigating the theft incident. Investigations have yet to provide a description of the suspects or their getaway car.

Clifton NJ police are also looking into a recent carjacking attempt committed by two men. Authorities said that the two suspects forced their way into a car on December 22 and demanded that the 28-year-old driver exit the vehicle. When the woman resisted, the suspect got out of the car and fled the scene on foot.

If police can eventually identify and apprehend the suspects in either case, serious criminal charges would probably follow. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:15-1, robbery is considered a first degree criminal offense when the offender is armed with a deadly weapon like a handgun or a knife. A conviction for first degree robbery could result in a sentence of 10-20 years in NJ State Prison.

Murders at Paterson NJ Warehouse PartyPolice are investigating two homicides at a party in Paterson, New Jersey.

Law enforcement indicated that the fatal shootings occurred around 3:44 a.m. at a party in Paterson, NJ. The site of the party was a large brick warehouse located on First Avenue. The warehouse is often used for parties, according to neighbors in the area.

The Paterson Police Department received a report of gunshots being fired and immediately dispatched officers to the area. When police arrived at the scene, they encountered approximately 30 people attending the party.

Police officers also saw that two people had sustained gunshot wounds.

The victims were both from Paterson NJ. One of the victims was 24 years old, while the other victim was 26 years old. They were rushed to St. Joseph’s Medical Center, but doctors were unable to save them; the victims were pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Paterson police are actively investigating the homicides. At this time, Paterson NJ detectives have not identified a suspect in the shootings.

A neighbor who lives near the warehouse where the party was held told police that he heard a man and a woman arguing loudly shortly before the shooting. However, the neighbor did not get a good look at anyone because he was afraid to go outside his residence.

Police also spoke with a Paterson NJ woman who reportedly attended the party. She left the warehouse not long before the shootings. The witness told police that she and her boyfriend decided to leave the event early because “he just felt uncomfortable.”

If investigators are eventually able to identify a suspect in the case, it is likely that serious criminal charges for murder would follow. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:11-3, murder is the most serious crime in the NJ Criminal Code. A first degree murder conviction could lead to life imprisonment in state prison, with a minimum sentence of 30 years behind bars.

The deaths were the 16th and 17th homicides to occur in Paterson in 2015. In 2014, there were a total of 26 homicides in Paterson, New Jersey.

Totowa New Jersey Assault LawyersPolice recently apprehended a man accused of assaulting an employee at a QuickChek store in Totowa, NJ.

According to authorities, the incident went down around 3:00 a.m. at the QuickChek located on Union Boulevard in Totowa, New Jersey. The suspect reportedly entered the building and walked toward a female employee. He then allegedly hit the worker in the face, shoved her to the ground, and used a knife to violently slash her.

Law enforcement later said that the blade used by the suspect to commit the attack was a box-cutter knife.

The Totowa Police Department was notified of the attack and dispatched officers to the scene. When officers showed up at the store, they discovered the victim lying on the floor. The victim had sustained cuts to her head, face, and fingers.

The Totowa First Aid Squad treated the victim at the scene and then rushed her to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson NJ, where she got further medical treatment.

The victim later told Totowa detectives that she recognized the suspect because he was a regular customer at the convenience store. Additionally, police said that the 34-year-old suspect might have applied for work at the QuickChek a few years ago.

Police later located the suspect at his apartment in Woodland Park, NJ. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

If the suspect is eventually convicted of aggravated assault, he would face significant criminal penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1(b), anyone who uses a deadly weapon like a knife or a handgun to cause bodily injury can be charged with a second degree crime. A conviction on second degree aggravated assault charges could result in a sentence of 5-10 years in New Jersey State Prison.

After being arrested and charged, the suspect was remanded to the Passaic County Jail in Paterson, NJ. He was being held at the jail in lieu of a massive $750,000 bail amount.

Clifton NJ Burglary SuspectsPolice officers recently apprehend two men who allegedly burglarized a home in Clifton NJ on Thanksgiving night.

According to authorities, the two suspects committed the burglary at a residence located on East Seventh Street in Clifton, New Jersey. The break-in was discovered when the home owners came back to the residence on Thanksgiving night around 11:00 p.m.

The items taken from the residence reportedly included electronics, jewelry, and personal documents like credit cards. Authorities estimate that the total value of the stolen items is several thousand dollars.

After returning to their home, the victims dialed 911 and notified the Clifton Police Department, which quickly dispatched officers to the area. The officers canvassed the surrounding neighborhood and found a witness who was able to provide a description of the suspects’ getaway car.

Six hours after the robbery was first reported, police officers located the suspects’ vehicle parked outside a residence on Lily Street in Paterson, New Jersey. A police search of the vehicle allegedly led to the discovery of several items purchased with the victims’ stolen credit cards.

While police searched for the burglars, the suspects reportedly used the stolen credit cards to go on a shopping spree at a number of businesses throughout NJ, including stores in Passaic County, Essex County, Bergen County, and Morris County.

The suspects were eventually busted when they allegedly returned to the same Target store in Fairfield, New Jersey. Fairfield NJ detectives arrested the 22-year-old suspects in the parking lot.

The two suspects were subsequently charged with multiple criminal offenses, including burglary, theft of movable property, and credit card fraud.

Wayne NJ Obstruction SuspectWayne NJ police recently arrested a Parsippany NJ woman who allegedly attempted to avoid a DUI charge by giving a false report of a crime.

The incident went down around 3:15 a.m. The suspect, a 25-year-old female who resides in the Lake Hiawatha area of Parsippany, claimed that she was assaulted while walking in the parking lot of Mother’s Ale House, a bar on Mountain View Boulevard in Wayne, New Jersey.

The suspect dialed 911 and reportedly told police that she had been attacked by a man who later drove away in a blue pick-up truck.

When Wayne NJ police officers got to the scene, they did not come across any evidence of the assault. Beyond that, surveillance video footage did not show an assault in the bar parking lot.

Sometime later, Wayne police were informed that the suspect had made a false emergency call in order to divert police from her companion, who was allegedly drunk and in the process of leaving the Grasshopper bar and grill on Erie Avenue in Wayne, NJ. The suspect allegedly hoped that her male friend would be able to avoid being stopped for driving under the influence (DUI).

The Wayne Police Department conducted an “extensive investigation” and quickly determined that the suspect might have lied about being attacked. Investigators also noticed a social media post that reportedly referred to police officers as “silly piggies.”

The suspect arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including filing false reports to police and creating a false public alarm.

Paterson NJ Marijuana LawyersPolice recently conducted a major drug raid in Paterson New Jersey and arrested five alleged drug dealers.

According to authorities, the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office raided a home located at 276 Carroll Street. The residence is in Paterson’s Sandy Hill neighborhood, near Eastside High School.

Law enforcement received a tip about drug activity in the area. Police then spent two weeks watching the home and observing the suspects before conducting the raid.

When police finally tried to enter the home, one of the suspects allegedly pushed his weight against the door in order to block their entry. However, detectives were able to force their way inside the residence.

Narcotics detectives with the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office allegedly seized a large quantity of drugs, including more than one pound of marijuana, half an ounce of cocaine, and multiple prescription pills. The total street value of the seized drugs is approximately $4,200.

Authorities also reportedly seized a .38-caliber revolver, as well as $7,200 in cash. It is believed that the cash represents the proceeds of illegal drug sales.

The suspects include three men and two women. They have been charged with a number of crimes, including distribution of marijuana, distribution of cocaine, and unlawful possession of a weapon.

If any of the suspects are eventually convicted on the marijuana distribution charges, they could be in store for severe penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5, manufacturing marijuana with intent to distribute more than one pound of the drug can be classified as a third degree felony and carries a sentence of 3-5 years in NJ State Prison.
