Clifton NJ Cocaine Distribution SuspectsNew Jersey authorities arrested several people in connection with a drug ring that reportedly operated out of Passaic County.

According to Morris County prosecutors, the people behind the drug ring would import cocaine and heroin from Passaic County and then sell the drugs in Morris County, including Morristown, Victory Gardens, and Dover.

After NJ officials learned about the illegal drug activity, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Special Enforcement Unit and the Morristown Police Department worked together to investigate the suspects for approximately three months. Investigators were able to trace the source of the illegal drugs to two brothers who lived in Dover and Morristown, respectively.

The two suspects are said to have bought the drugs from a 47-year-old woman who resided in Clifton, NJ.

Law enforcement obtained search warrants and arrest warrants and then carried out a series of raid in Passaic County and Morris County, arresting a total of 24 people.

Police officers reportedly seized more than 1,400 folds of heroin, 55 grams of cocaine, and a large quantity of drug paraphernalia. Police also allegedly seized more than $33,500 in cash during the drug raids.

The two main suspects, the brothers from Morris County NJ, are charged with distribution of cocaine and distribution of heroin. Meanwhile, several people who were allegedly observed purchasing drugs are charged with cocaine possession and heroin possession.

After being arrested and processed, the two brothers accused of selling the drugs were moved to the Morris County Correctional Facility in Morristown, NJ. They were each being held at the jail on separate bail amounts of $250,000.

Paterson New Jersey Drug Offense LawyersPaterson NJ police arrested an individual accused of selling illegal narcotics on a city street.

According to authorities, the suspect was seen by Paterson police officers who were on patrol around 12th Avenue and 22nd Street in Paterson, New Jersey. Two Paterson police officers reportedly spotted the suspect approaching a white SUV, talking to the driver, and then accepting money for drugs.

When police officers stopped the suspect a short time later, he allegedly screamed obscenities at them and then tried to flee the scene on foot. Police gave chase, with the suspect allegedly striking one of the officers.

Other Paterson police officers soon joined pursuit and eventually found the suspect on Hamilton Street, where he was reportedly trying to climb a fence. While the suspect climbed, an officer grabbed the suspect’s belt. The suspect allegedly responded by punching the police officer, causing the officer to fall down and injure his wrist.

Paterson NJ police managed to subdue the suspect and arrest him.

While searching the suspect, police allegedly found multiple baggies of MDMA, an illegal drug that goes by the name “Molly.” Police also allegedly discovered a Davis .380-caliber handgun.

The suspect was initially moved to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ so that he could be examined by doctors. Later, the suspect was taken to Paterson police headquarters.

Before arriving at the Paterson police station, the suspect allegedly became agitated and kicked at a window inside the police car. Police officers in the front seat then used pepper spray on the suspect.

The suspect faces criminal charges for multiple drug crimes, including possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and illegal possession of drugs near school property. The suspect has also been charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Paterson NJ Aggravated Assault LawyersPaterson NJ police are looking for the person who committed a violent shooting that left a local man with significant injuries.

The shooting happened on a city street around 7:00 p.m. According to law enforcement, the Paterson Police Department got a report of gunshots fired near the intersection of North 3rd Street and Jefferson Street in Paterson, New Jersey. The alert came from the Paterson ShotSpotter gunfire detection system, which lets police know when gunshots have been fired in the city.

After getting word of the shooting, members of the Paterson Police Department’s Ceasefire Unit showed up at the scene and came across the victim lying on the ground. Police officers saw that the victim, a 28-yearold Paterson NJ man, had sustained a gunshot wound to the neck.

Emergency medical responders treated the victim and then transported him to nearby St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where doctors worked hard to save his life. The next day, hospital officials indicated that the victim had been listed in critical but stable condition.

Paterson detectives are currently investigating the non-fatal shooting and attempting to identify a suspect in the case.

If police can eventually figure out the shooter’s identity, he would probably be charged with, at a minimum, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Prospect Park NJ Theft SuspectPassaic County authorities recently arrested two brothers who allegedly possessed stolen party equipment valued at more than $200,000.

According to officials, the suspects took the equipment from a Prospect Park NJ party rental agency and stashed the stolen goods at different garages located in Paterson, NJ.

The Prospect Park Police Department started an investigation after Prestige Party Rental, the party equipment provider, filed a police report. The party company told police that they had been victims of a theft.

Prospect Park NJ police turned the investigation over to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office, which eventually located $60K worth of the stolen items in two garages in Paterson, New Jersey. The stolen equipment included 20 tables, 180 folding chairs, and 10 commercial tents.

The suspects are brothers who live in Paterson and Bloomfield, respectively. They have been charged with receiving stolen property.

If the suspects are ultimately convicted of receiving stolen property, they face significant penalties. Since the criminal charges are considered third degree felonies, the suspects could potentially be sentenced to 3-5 years in NJ State Prison.

Beyond that, the suspects could be subject to additional criminal charges if police can locate the $140,000 worth of stolen party equipment that remains missing.

Paterson New Jersey Heroin Distribution SuspectPassaic County law enforcement recently apprehended a Paterson New Jersey man accused of using a local business to produce and distribute illegal drugs.

The suspect reportedly owned and operated Chelo Grocery Store on Carroll Street in Paterson, New Jersey. According to officials, the 49-year-old suspect was using the grocery store as a site to distribute heroin.

When authorities became aware of the suspect’s alleged drug activity, they started an investigation. The investigation lasted approximately one month and concluded with members of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office narcotics bureau raiding the Paterson NJ grocery store.

During the drug raid, police officers allegedly discovered 250 glassines of heroin, in addition to various items of drug paraphernalia, including several thousand empty glassines, grinders, digital scales, and rubber bands.

Police officers also reportedly seized $6,538 in cash that may have been the proceeds of illegal heroin sales conducted at the grocery store.

Moreover, law enforcement searched an Infiniti FX 35, which is owned by the suspect and which he allegedly used to transport heroin throughout Paterson, NJ. During the search of the vehicle, police allegedly found more illegal drugs.

The suspect, who lives in Paterson, faces numerous drug crime charges, including heroin possession, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, distribution of heroin in the area of a school, maintaining a narcotics production facility, and drug paraphernalia possession.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted of heroin distribution, he would be subject to significant criminal penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5, anyone who manufactures, sells, or distributes at least five ounces of heroin can be charged with a first degree crime. A conviction on first degree heroin distribution charges could lead to a sentence of 10-20 years in NJ State Prison.

According to law enforcement, the 30-year-old victim was walking on East 24th Street in Paterson New Jersey when someone used a handgun to shoot him several times. As a result of the shooting, the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The Paterson Police Department sent officers to the scene after getting an alert from ShotSpotter, a gunfire detection system that is used by Paterson police. When police officers arrived in the area, they discovered the victim lying on the pavement.

The victim, who hails from Paterson, New Jersey, was suffering from gunshot injuries. So emergency medical responders transported him to a local hospital, where he received medical treatment for his gunshot wounds. Hospital officials later listed the victim in critical condition.

Although Paterson NJ detectives are actively investigating the shooting incident, they have not yet identified a suspect.

Paterson NJ Kidnapping SuspectA SWAT team recently captured a man who was wanted for kidnapping, carjacking, and assaulting a cab driver in Ridgewood, NJ.

The violent incident began early on December 26, 2015. According to law enforcement officials, four men hailed a taxi in Paterson, New Jersey and instructed the taxi driver to take them all the way to Waldwick NJ. When the taxi began to pass through Ridgewood, the suspects told the driver pull over. The suspects then allegedly held the driver captive and stole his wallet and belongings.

The suspects reportedly took the cab to the New York State Thruway in Tuxedo, NY, where they allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife and struck him in the face with a handgun.

The victim was later found on the side of the roadway. He was taken to a local hospital, where doctors treated him for his serious injuries.

The FBI and local law enforcement worked together on the subsequent investigation and were able to track down three of the suspects. However, the fourth suspect eluded police until recently.

The fourth suspect, a 19-year-old man from Suffern NY, was found inside his home and placed under arrest by a SWAT team.

The suspect faces multiple criminal charges, including kidnapping, carjacking, aggravated assault, robbery, and weapons offenses.

After being placed under arrest and charged, the suspect was moved to the Passaic County Jail in Paterson, New Jersey. He was being held at the jail in lieu of $400,000 bail.

Hawthorne NJ Bank Robbery LawyersHawthorne New Jersey police apprehended two men believed to have robbed a local bank.

The theft incident went down around 4:00 p.m. at the TD Bank on Lafayette Avenue in Hawthorne, NJ. According to bank employees, one of the suspects walked into the building and handed a threatening note to a bank teller. The note allegedly demanded that the bank worker hand over money.

The suspect got an undisclosed amount of cash and then ran out of the bank. Once outside the building, the suspect got into a black Mitsubishi and drove off.

The Hawthorne Police Department dispatched officers to the area, but the suspects were already gone. Investigators obtained surveillance video showing the robbery being committed.

Hawthorne police gave out information to police departments in surrounding areas and to the Pennsylvania State Police.

A Pennsylvania patrol officer later captured one of the suspects as he entered Pennsylvania. The suspect, a 20-year-old man who lives in East Stroudsburg, PA, was detained until detectives with the Hawthorne Police Department and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force could interview him. He was then placed under arrest.

Just one day later, police arrested another man who allegedly participated in the Hawthorne NJ bank robbery. The suspect was apprehended when he showed up at Wayne Municipal Court in Wayne, NJ. The 44-year-old suspect, who lives in Little Falls, was at the court because he faced criminal charges in an unrelated case.

Both suspects have been charged with bank robbery. If they are convicted of robbery, they face significant criminal penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:15-1, anyone who purposely puts another person in fear of immediate bodily injury while committing a theft can be charged with a second degree felony. A conviction on second degree robbery charges could lead to a sentence of 5-10 years in New Jersey State Prison.

The suspect allegedly received an undisclosed amount of money from the bank teller and then fled the building. Witnesses saw the suspect getting inside a black Mitsubishi and driving away.

The good news is that nobody sustained any injuries during the bank robbery. Authorities said that the suspect was not armed with a deadly weapon like a handgun or knife.

The Hawthorne Police Department is currently investigating the bank robbery and searching for the suspect. Law enforcement has not yet released information about the suspect.

Paterson NJ Heroin Possession SuspectPolice recently arrested a Paterson NJ man accused of possessing 900 envelopes of heroin in his car.

Passaic County law enforcement made the arrest while conducting a traffic stop in the area of Main Street and Barclay Street. A Paterson narcotics detective pulled over the suspect, who was driving a Mercedes-Benz.

According to the officials, the Passaic County police officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the suspect’s car. The detective talked to the suspect, who allegedly told the officer that he had been smoking some “weed” inside the vehicle just before he was pulled over.

The detective ordered the suspect to get out of the car. When the suspect exited the vehicle, he reportedly gave the police officer a small bag that contained marijuana.

A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers with the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office reportedly resulted in the discovery of 18 bricks of heroin with 900 envelopes, in addition to four grams of cocaine. Authorities later said that the drugs are believed to have an estimated street value of roughly $5,000.

The suspect, a 20-year-old male who resides in Paterson, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with multiple drug crimes, including heroin possession, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of heroin near a public school, and possession of cocaine.

After being placed under arrest, the suspect was transported to the Paterson Police Department for processing.
