A Clifton New Jersey man is headed to state prison after he pleaded guilty to the sexual assault of a go-go dancer at a Passaic NJ gentleman’s club.
The suspect is a 39-year-old resident of Clifton, NJ. According to Passaic County authorities, the suspect was one of several people who sexually assaulted a 26-year-old dancer at Mr. B’s Gentleman’s Club in Passaic, New Jersey.
The suspect was in attendance at an after-hours party held on November 5, 2012. The victim later reported the sexual assault to police and said that she was “incapacitated” while being raped.
The suspect was arrested and charged with a number of sexual offenses, including first degree aggravated sexual assault.
The suspect ultimately managed to avoid trial in Passaic County Superior Court in Paterson by reaching a plea agreement with Passaic County prosecutors. The suspect pleaded guilty to the most serious charges for aggravated sexual assault and will now likely be sentenced to 12 years in New Jersey State Prison.
Additionally, the suspect will have to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law after he completes his term of incarceration.
