A Paterson man is accused of possessing and distributing images of child pornography.
According to authorities, the 29-year-old resident of Paterson NJ stored more than 500 child pornography files on his computer.
Law enforcement learned about the suspect’s alleged sex crimes a few months ago and immediately launched an investigation.
Passaic County Sheriff’s officers eventually got a search warrant for the suspect’s residence in Paterson, NJ. While searching the home, police officers found, and seized, the suspect’s personal computer. An examination of the computer allegedly led to the discovery of files containing illegal sexual images of children. Moreover, the child porn files had allegedly been “prepared” for distribution through a file sharing program.
