Elmwood Park NJ law enforcement recently arrested two Clifton NJ residents who allegedly possessed crack cocaine.
The suspects are a 33-year-old Clifton woman and a 42-year-old Clifton man. The suspects allegedly committed the drug offense while driving a car through Passaic County and Bergen County, NJ.
Paterson cops were on patrol when they allegedly saw the suspects engaging in a drug deal in Paterson, NJ. Paterson police notified Elmwood Park police, which sent officers to the area for “mobile surveillance.”
Elmwood Park police officers later pulled over the suspects’ car on Route 46 in Elmwood Park, NJ. A subsequent search of the motor vehicle by police allegedly led to the discovery of crack cocaine.
Police arrested the suspects and charged them with multiple drug crimes, including possession of crack cocaine.
After being placed under arrest and processed, the suspects were released with a pending court date in Bergen County, NJ.
