Wayne New Jersey Arson LawyersPolice in Wayne New Jersey are looking into a fire that resulted in at least one person tragically dying.

Wayne cops and firefighters were sent to a home located on Riverlawn Drive in Wayne NJ after receiving a call about a fire. The blaze reportedly began just before 8:00 a.m.

When firefighting crews fire arrived at the residence, they were not able to enter the home because the flames were out of control. The fire spread throughout the home and eventually reached a car in the driveway.

Tragically, a male resident of the Wayne NJ home died after getting trapped on the second floor of the residence.

The victim’s wife was reportedly inside the home at the time of the fire. It is unclear at this time if she survived the fire.

Wayne New Jersey fire officials are currently investigating the fire. Law enforcement has already determined that the fire likely started in the basement of the residence.

Depending on the outcome of the Wayne police investigation into the blaze, it’s possible that arson charges could be filed in the case.
