Prospect Park law enforcement recently arrested a Paterson New Jersey man who allegedly committed several burglaries.
According to authorities, the suspect was responsible for multiple burglaries of Prospect Park residences last month.
The Passaic County Sheriff’s Office and the Prospect Park Police Department worked together on an exhaustive investigation into the property offenses. Police caught a break in the investigation when they obtained video surveillance footage from businesses in the area of one of the robberies and were able to identify the suspect.
The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with a number of crimes, including burglary, theft of movable property, and criminal mischief.
After being arrested and charged, the suspect was released from on his own recognizance. The suspect will be required to appear in court on March 13 so that he can answer the criminal charges against him.
