Police recently arrested three suspects and are still looking for two other suspects in a violent kidnapping and assault crime at a Wayne NJ motel.
The five men reportedly forced their way inside a motel room at the Wayne Inn, which is located in Wayne, New Jersey. Once the suspects had entry to the room, they allegedly assaulted one of the occupants. They then reportedly told the victim that his girlfriend had been kidnapped and that she would be murdered if he did not provide them with a ransom of $2,000 in cash.
The victims reportedly sustained serious injuries when the suspects assaulted him and stole his wallet, as well as a prescription bottle containing his medication.
Meanwhile, the suspects allegedly held the victim’s girlfriend hostage at a house in Paterson, New Jersey. Wayne NJ police officers later located the female victim, rescued her, and arrested three of the suspects who allegedly kidnapped her in the first place.
The suspects all face very serious criminal charges for kidnapping, aggravated assault, robbery, conspiracy, and criminal coercion.
The two suspects who remain at large are said to be armed and dangerous, so anyone who sees the men should immediately contact law enforcement.
The men who were already arrested are currently being held at the Passaic County Jail while awaiting resolution of the criminal case.
