Paterson NJ Assault AttorneysPaterson New Jersey police are on the lookout for a man who reportedly committing a triple shooting on a city street.

The shooting went down around 5:20 a.m. in the area of East 42nd Street and Market Street in Paterson, NJ. According to Paterson officials, a large group of people was standing on the street when several individuals got into a verbal argument.

The verbal altercation soon became physical, with one of the individuals allegedly grabbing a handgun and firing several gunshots into the crowd of people. At least three people were reportedly struck by bullets during the shooting incident.

Among the shooting victims are a 19-year-old man, a 23-year-old man, and a 31-year-old man. All three victims reside in Paterson, New Jersey.

After being shot, the three victims were rushed to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson NJ. Doctors at the medical facility treated the victims for gunshot wounds. One of the victims was reportedly shot in the torso and the leg, while another victim sustained a gunshot wound to his torso. All three victims were listed in stable condition at the hospital.

Paterson NJ detectives are conducting an ongoing investigation into the shooting incident and trying to identify the suspect.

If law enforcement can eventually identify and locate the suspect, he would probably face serious criminal charges for aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
