Wayne NJ Kidnapping SuspectPolice recently arrested a Wanaque New Jersey man who allegedly kidnapped a college student in Wayne, NJ.

The suspect is a 35-year-old male from Wanaque, NJ. He reportedly saw the victim, a student at Passaic County Tech night school, inside a truck at the drive-thru for a McDonald’s in Wayne, New Jersey.

According to law enforcement officials, the suspect approached the victim and asked to use the victim’s cell phone in order to call his family members. The suspect then reportedly entered the victim’s vehicle and threatened to hurt him unless he drove to Paterson, NJ.

The suspect reportedly the victim to drive him across NJ to purchase illegal drugs and solicit prostitutes.

Additionally, the suspect allegedly forced the victim to withdraw $190 from an ATM.

The victim finally managed to get away from the victim around 3:00 a.m. and contact local law enforcement from a Wanaque 7-11. Wanaque police officers later arrested the suspect.

The suspect now faces multiple criminal charges, including kidnapping, carjacking, and resisting arrest.
