Paterson Aggravated Manslaughter ChargesPaterson New Jersey police recently arrested a local woman accused of killing the family member of an ex-boyfriend.

The suspect is a 27-year-old woman from Paterson, NJ. She allegedly used a kitchen knife to fatally stab a 31-year-old Paterson man during an argument on the porch at her home on North 7th Street in Paterson, New Jersey.

According to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect got into a heated argument with her boyfriend, a 40-year-old man from Paterson, New Jersey.

The victim was transported to nearby St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect was later arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including aggravated manslaughter and weapons offenses.

Moreover, since the violent incident that allegedly led to the homicide involved a person who was dating the suspect, it is possible that law enforcement may classify the altercation as a domestic violence incident.
