Paterson New Jersey police recently arrested an East Orange NJ man who was allegedly responsible for a shooting near a local business.
The shooting suspect is a 26-year-old man from East Orange, New Jersey According to law enforcement, he used a firearm to shoot the 22-year-old victim outside a business located on Montgomery Street in Paterson, New Jersey.
When Paterson police officers arrived at the scene of the shooting, they found the victim lying on the ground and suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical crews briefly treated the victim and then transported him to nearby St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
Meanwhile, Paterson NJ detectives investigated the violent crime and soon identified the suspect. He was later captured and taken to Paterson police headquarters for processing.
The suspect faces several criminal charges, including attempted murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
