Paterson NJ Murder Suspects ChargedPaterson New Jersey authorities recently filed murder charges against three suspects who are believed to have been responsible for two unrelated shootings.

The first homicide occurred in July 2015. Two men sustained gunshot wounds as they walked along Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson, NJ. One victim, a 24-year-old resident of Paterson NJ, later died due to his gunshot injuries. The other shooting victim, a 26-year-old resident of Paterson, survived the violent incident.

Detectives with the Paterson Police Department conducted an investigation and ultimately identified two suspects. Both suspects were later found in police custody at the Passaic County Jail. They were reportedly being held at the jail on unrelated drug offense charges.

The suspects have been charged with multiple crimes, including first degree murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

The second fatal shooting occurred on November 18, 2016. The shooting victim crashed his motor vehicle on Godwin Avenue in Paterson, NJ. When police found the victim, he had already died as a result of his gunshot wound.

Paterson New Jersey detectives investigated the homicide and identified the suspect as a 30-year-old Paterson suspect. That man was recently placed under arrest by police and now faces charges for first degree murder and weapons offenses in connection with the shooting.
