Paterson NJ Murder ChargesPaterson police officers recently apprehended two men who are accused of committing a murder during a robbery attempt and then setting fire to a vehicle.

The homicide suspects are a 26-year-old Paterson resident and a 28-year-old Paterson resident. They both live in the same home located on Spring Street.

According to authorities, the suspects held up the victims on the 500 block of East 28th Street in Paterson, New Jersey. The suspects allegedly stole money from the victims and then shot the two men in the heads.

The victims, a 25-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, were later pronounced dead.

When police found the victims’ bodies, they were inside a 2015 Audi that was on fire. Investigators later connected the car to Kim DePaola, a cast member of the reality show “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

Paterson detectives quickly identified and captured the two murder suspects. They were arrested without incident.

The suspects have been charged with several crimes, including first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, armed robbery, arson, and illegal possession of a handgun.

After being placed under arrest and charged, the suspects were transported to the Passaic County Jail in Paterson, NJ. Given new bail restrictions in New Jersey, it is possible that the suspects will remain behind bars until their criminal case is resolved.
