Paterson New Jersey Murder SuspectPolice officers apprehended one of the suspects in a triple homicide in Maplewood New Jersey that resulted in the death of a Paterson NJ woman.

Two men allegedly committed the homicide at an apartment on Van Ness Court in Maplewood on January 29, 2017. According to authorities, the two suspects went to the apartment building and tried to rob the three victims. At some point, the suspects allegedly shot and killed the victims.

The victims included a 30-year-old Paterson woman, a 44-year-old Newark NJ man, and a 45-year-old Maplewood NJ man.

Maplewood NJ firefighters went to the apartment to conduct a welfare check and found the victims’ bodies.

Multiple law enforcement agencies worked on the investigation, including the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the Maplewood Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Police officers eventually located one of the murder suspects in Maryland. He was apprehended without incident by Maryland officers.

Police are still attempting to locate the other murder suspect, a 33-year-old male from Galloway in Atlantic County, NJ.

The suspects are going to face serious criminal charges, including three counts of first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, felony murder, armed robbery, and unlawful possession of a weapon.

The suspect who was placed under arrest is currently being held at a jail in Maryland. He will need to be extradited back to Essex County, NJ.
